RIP Tonka May 2008 - November 2008

This week had been really rough. Well for over a week now. Last thursday our little dog Tonka started acting weird, like he didn't feel good. We thought he was sick b/c he got ahold of a chicken leg bone and he was just having trouble digesting it. Well Friday he wouldnt eat or drink anything and we notice he was getting sicker. We ended up taking him to a vet that night at 11:30. The vet said that he had a virus called Parvo. He said it was really tough for dogs to pull through his virus. We took Tonka home and he died the next day at 2pm in my arms. He was such a sweet dog. The days that I wasn't feeling well he would just lay by me all day and cheer me up. We miss him so much. Right now I don't know if I will ever get another dog and get attached to him like I did Tonka. My heart aches so bad. That how much I miss him. And we will always miss him.

Little Kicker!

Wow its been a long time since I posted a blog. My computer doesn't work to good right now so thats why! But anyways! Just wanted to let everyone know that we are doing good and the baby is doing good. He loves to kick me! There are 3 baby kicking stories I got to tell!

1. About a month ago I was holding my little dog Tonka in my lap, well all of a sudden Christopher kicked me hard and Tonka felt it! He looked up at me with the funniest look. His face looked like he couldnt believe that I just kicked him! He got up and went and sat on the other couch! lol

2. Our doctor said that sometimes you can hear the babys heart beat through the mother stomach, so Brandon decieded he would try. Well one night before we went to sleep he put his ear up to my belly and was listening to see if he could. Well Christopher didn't like his daddy invaveding his privacy! So what did he do? Christopher kicked Brandon right in the ear! It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

3. I went to the ER a couple of weeks ago b/c I was sick. The nurses always checks the babys heart beat. Well the nurse had the heart moniter and was running it across my belly to find the heart beat. Once again Christopher did not appreciate someone invadeing his privacy! So what did he do? He kicked the heart moniter thing and made it pop up. It scared the poor little nurse. She jumped back!

Soooooo we are going to have a very little active baby on our hands. I'm wondering if he is going to be a football team's kicker! Well just thought I'd share that with ya'll! I will update the blog with some more ultrasound pics soon! Later!

Its a Boy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We found out yesterday that we are having a boy! It was so cute b/c he kept covering his wee wee up with his hand not wanting us to see!! and the ultrasound lady kept saying come on little baby show us what you got! It was funny! He finally moved his hand and she got a picture! His full name will be Christopher Andrew Coleman. Named after my late brother Christopher who died when he was 2 and Andrew after Brandon (Andrew is Brandons middle name). Just wanted to tell ya'll the news! I can't wait for Christopher to get here!!!

Tornado Car Ride.....

Well Last night was really crazy!!! About 9pm I was laying on the couch and had heard the weather outside getting bad. Well a few minutes later my brother heard the tornado sirens going off. It scared me to death!! Well we were going to get in the car and go to my uncles since we live in a trailor. Well my brother grab the wrong keys and had to come back in and search for the keys. I was going to get out of the car and go help find them but it started raining golf ball size hail and the wind was so strong it was shaken the car. We had Tonka (our dog) in the car with us and he was going crazy. He hates bad weather. Miranda (my sister) was going crazy hereself! All we could do was pray and cry and wish that Brandon was there (He was on his way home from work in the storm)! My brother said the whole trailor was shaken. Finally he found a the keys and we made it to my uncles. We later learned that there was tornado activity over our town but it did not touch down anywhere. We have trees down all behind our trailor. It was crazy and I have never been so scared in my life!! I praise God for keeping his hand on us.

Morning Sickness? More like all day sickness!

Well as everyone knows when a women is pregnant she is most likely to have morning sickness....well mine is more like All day sickness. Its been horrible! lol I am sure all 2 or 3 of you that read this blog want to know about this! The doctor says it should pass by the time the second trimester starts, I sure hope so! Its bad when you eat cerael and cold milk anad it comes back up cold! And i have found out I can't stand to be around the smell of eggs cooking! Well I hope it gets better soon!! Well maybe next blog i write I will write about something a little better!

Our Lil' Bitty Baby!!

We went to the OB doctor today for our first sonogram! The nurse said that the baby was the most active little baby she has seen! At one point it looked like the baby was waving at us! We will find out if the baby is a boy or a girl in 4 weeks!!!

Fishing, Tubing, & Rolling Down the Dam

This weekend was sooooooooooooo much fun. Me & Brandon went camping this weekend with a ton of the rest of my dads side of the family. We had a family reunion Saturday at Roosevelt State Park. So a ton of the family just always goes camping for a couple of days. Well This weekend we decieded to take my cousin Issac fishing. I have only been fishing like 2 times in my life but never caught any fish. This weekend was the first time I have ever caught a fish. It was a a very larg one but I caught one! lol We ended up throwing it back, but I think Issac caught it twice. We didn't catch anything else b/c the lake was filled with people skiing and tubing and the fish don't bite good when you have all those people on boats. I also went tubing for this first time!!! I know alot of people fussed at me and said i shouldn't have went tubing b/c I am pregnant, but my uncle pulled me really really really slow! He would have not let me do it if it could have hurt me. He knows how to go slow so you don't get thrown off. The rest of the people weren't so lucky! My brother Justin flew off the tube once and i swear it looked like he did 3 cart wheels over the water! Shelley came down for a day and it was really fun having her there spending the night and hanging out with us. She enjoyed the tubing to. I have some awesome video i will have to post of them rolling down the huge Dam! Here are some pics.

Mitsy & Quintons Wedding

I did photography at my second wedding. My cousin Mitsy married her high school sweet heart. They had me take alot of pictures of their kids. It was a really pretty wedding and I love how they included their kids in the wedding. Here are some pictures.

A bundle of Joy!!!!

So we have BIG news!!! I had to go to the doctor thursday to see about getting on birth control (I wasn't able to before the wedding b/c of some medications I was on). Well the doctor had to do a pregnancy test to make sure I wasn't pregnant before putting me on birth control, and well he couldn't put me on it. Because.....I AM GOING TO HAVE A BABY!!!

WOW! I am excited, nervous, happy, and scared all at the same time!! At first I was worried, are me and Brandon ready to be parents? Can we really do this? But we know that God knows what he is doing. And that all things work together for good to them that love the Lord. So we know that God knows best and that this is his will in our lives. I don't know the exact due date yet. I have to go to the Ob doctor first. But my regular doctor said the due date would probably be around Feb. 15th. So we will keep ya'll updated!!

Our Wedding! May 17, 2008

So we just got this blog and the first thing I want to write about is our wedding. It was one of the best days of my life!!!!

So May 17, 2008 I married the love of my life, my best friend, one of the most awesomest guys ever! Brandon Coleman!! I know without a shadow of a doubt that God brought us together. He is the best husband that I could ever ask for!!

Ok! So about the wedding!!! Though there were a few times I was really majorly stressed out, the day went so great! We had some awesome people there that were a great blessing to us. For example, I was stressing out about my dress because some of the wrinkles had not come out. Larita was there fixing my hair (and let me say she did a amazing job!!!) and her and Maranda (my best friend and also a bridesmaid) and her sister Kimberely (another great friend of mine). Told me to sit down and not to worry about it, and all 3 of them very carefully ironed my dress and got the wrinkles out. Larita was there with me right up to the minute I walked down the asile keeping me calm! I would like to thank her, Maranda, and Kimberely for all that they did!

Another person that was a big part of my wedding was the photographer! We had the most awesomest photographer ever! Danette Chappell is a very talented person and a good friend of ours. She did a amazing job on the photos I have seen so far! And I know the rest of them are going to be just as amazing!! Thanks Danette for all you did!!

I would like to also thank our wedding party! We had a large wedding party b/c we have so many people who are such a big part of our life. The Best Men were TJ Coats Justin Collins. The Groomsmen were Greg Collins , Timmy Hancock , Michael Stokes, Drew Coats , Colin Compton, & Hunter Collins. My maid of honor was Miranda Collins and my matron of honor was Nicole Thomas. The bridesmaids were, Maranda Burks, Shey Johnson, Brooklynn Shepheard, Emerald Barrett, Kasie Compton, & Rebecca Stokes. Then we had the ring bearer and flower girl who were Bryce King & Rose Coats. Brandon's twin niece and nephew, Tristan & Alyssa, were are miniature bride and groom. Then Shelly Holcomb was the register attendant and also videoed the wedding. We would like to thank all of them for being a part of our big day!!
